Default sapphire cosworth 2wd

Hi,I have the pleasure to show my project, I am very proud of my Sapphire Cosworth 2wd on evolution that I have hecho.Tambien I have a sapphire Cosworth 4x4 but that's another story.

When I bought in May 2009 and was 10 years old standing in the street, he lacked the full cylinderhead. Soon sold the block 205 for the price of the complete car. That summer to buy an Escort Cosworth T35 parts, I thought that engine, unit and installation of motor P8.
In December 2009, I began to weld the front chassis to give it more rigidity, also lend a hand paint original Not ford.

In late January 2010 to review finish the interior of a wheel, took out the front axle that was in very poor condition and change for my 2.0IS which is the same.
Back in March I became a mess with the Cossie, cleaning, sanding, painting and mounting the front axle.I put in many parts from other cars like the 2.0IS or xr4i if one day I were needed.

Still counting:

The rear axle is in very poor condition (as usual), I had another 4x4 bridge was going to put my 2.0IS but ultimately was not finished. Of course, the axle is not the same as a 2wd, but if silemblocks.Limpie Wishbones Arms and the differential carriers put new bearings, brakes of 4x4 and blue paint of the axle. Also anti roll bar of escort, much thicker.

And it was time to change the site cossie.

Hi, I continue with the project step by step.

In the middle of April 2010 mount the rear brakes, I had to buy fittings ford rear chassis roll bar, change the deposit as 10 years old with bad gasoline inside leave it, change the fuel pump and filter.

You had ever seen a 2-Cosworth engines? xD

Clean and sanitize inside chassis. Instalation P8 unit gave me the cut, so thank goodness I found after many hours of internet www.BIGTURBO.co.uk page and easily found the correct direction.

After 2 weeks without being able to play the Cosworth (may-2010) I got to stop with the installation of the P8, luckily, had only L8 electrical installations at home.

before

after

As I put five gauges in dash, I thought of removing the central air vents and gauges placed there in February, right? I did it all in plastic melted.

From I caught my other 2WD Cosworth provided the fuel tank and paint to not re-oxidize

The color is solid gray Nissan called "mineral". I like rally cars and then will have stickers on the bodywork.
