196cc/min flow rate? must be running the injectors at 100% duty cycle? certainly absoloutly no more bhp available with those injectors, when you do yours i woulod go with something bigger mate im using 306cc/min redtop turbo ones, prob flow enough for 360bhp at std fuel pressure, 400bhp at 4 bar fuel pressure.

i will be using differant injectors mate, havent looked into which ones yet, but should manage.
ive not seen any BOB's produce big power N/A yet but thats more because there haven't been many yet.

i could be tempted to put BOA heads on a BOB block to get the higher compression, but not sure if it would work :/

Not really worth the hassle. U may aswell go full bob if your considering swapping. Better base to start with, I have been in a few boas and the difference is night and day power and noise wise
Once u go Bob u will never go back mate

i was the opposite actually, i didnt like the bob. it sounds too smooth and flat + its ugly as hell!
a low compression engine producing 200bhp is better than a high compression engine producing 200bhp :')

All I Care about is that it's faster.

They are both great engines,

If I was turbo'ing id go for boa,

But a well tuned n/a bob is in a different league imo

The difference between a turbo boa and an NA one is night and day lol was out in my car last night, 5 psi atm, still fucking rapid lol. I tried a bit of left foot braking to load up the engine for mapping and it just spun the rears lol

When going with aftermarket management a problem might arise in controlling the variable cam timing on the bob ( think it is variable?)

No its only got a 'VIS' A variable intake system, it opens and closes a flap within the inlet manifold to spread the torque at certain revs. Aftermarket management will have a control to do that

yeah man, was out for a naughty tuning session last night, working mainly on the cruise and light throttle part of the map, so it can be driven to the mot testing station. The map is well rich on boost and very safe timing wise, @ only 5psi boost it pulls sooo hard lol, my original plan was about ten psi, but after last nights 3rd gear pull i may settle for a nicley tuned 7!!! i would think it would be 50bhp/cylinder at that.

Yeah, people are getting 220bhp from them with just a remap NA, 300 bhp and 400lbft torque is no problem! ill will have good torque and low down grunt, what exactly is "stage 3"?
