note, this manifold came with the wastegate deal and will serve as a doner for my custom manifold, i will use the flanges etc

not so sure about that! your car only needs an mot, mine needs a lot more, engine in, wiring loom, fuel pump, pipes, exhaust manifold and system, boost and coolant pipes.... all have to be custom made with my BEAR hands lol. but ill enjoy doing it i suppose

its almost ready for the mot and winter isnt for another 2 months!i know the salt will make the escort dissapear but theres nice days in winter too,just think of all that cold air getting into the intercooler increasing bhp........!bet you a crispy cake you strip it and it doesnt see another summer in 1 piece again!

Cheers! the bonnet and roof was painted last night, hopefully get it all polished tonight and fitted up, ill get some more pics up as soon as its done. That only leaves the two bumpers, grille, spoiler and sideskirts to paint, all of which need only a scotchbrite to prep them for paint. So hopefull the bodywork will be finished in the next week or two, then i can get on with the fun bit, the oily bits...

looks like nibs in the bonnet but its actually dust and crap from polishing
i had the garage doors open the day and had a good look at it in the sunlight, there is still a couple of flat bits needing machine polished, but i will wait now until it is complete and i can get it outside on a good day to see it properly, im quite happy with the car soo far though.

i have bought an exhaust for my honda as its standard and thats all ill need as its fast,stops,handles good out of the box so i dont need to spend heaps of notes on it to make it gucci.what you spoending money on as you have been polishing it for weeks,sandpaper and cutting compund?i dont see any twin scroll fanimolds or big intercoolers yet.
