hey peeps...been working in the garage all day today and thought i would let you know about my progress...

well first thing was to completely finish the rear bumper off...

first thing was to smoothen and apply filler to the new number plate light recess

then carry on doing so untill the desired finish was required...then a quick trial fit:

everything looked fine and the finished article like this

however, i will double check the height of the light tomo when i have more energy and see if its low enough for me...if its not then plan B comes into action

rear bumper FINALLY complete

next place to attack was my bonnet...when i bought the car there had been a few dents on the bonnet where the owner must have pressed down on to shut the bonnet

angle grinded away the paint

filled and then smoothed also finished the de-badging

next area was to start work on the front bumper

after being advised to drill holes into the bumper before filling, i did so

filled up the line in the bumper

and that leaves me where i ended tonight...tomo will carry on with the front bumper

Hey peeps...not updated for a while now so thought i would let u know how im getting on...

got a rear disc conversion kit (thanx Gaz @ Racespec) which ill fit when my rear link kit is ordered and fitted

front bumper is now 95% complete....and kinda went like this

first mission was to get the troublesome front splitter on so went down to B+Q and got some brackets to fibreglass to the bumper along the inside...trial fitted them:

fitted better than i thought so i secured them in place:

this made the bumper look like this

next things to attack was the big bar...wanted to shorten it down...

so marked out what needed cutting away

then cut it out

finished there with the bumper looking a bit like this

will carry on tomo and bond the bar back together

You want to be careful cutting the bumper bar away mate, they become very flimsy when they removed, but urs looks cool

Does anyone have any idea what the smallest sized plate i can get away with on the car is? i would love one the size of Twins' but i cant be bothered getting pulled over all the time as i get pulled over all the time already...and i can tell the cops are just waiting for me to slip up with a tiny thing so they can charge me for something!

Otherwise, i was thinking to relocate the number plate lower or something?
