i have been thinking about changing the lights on the front to the facelifts for a while but just waiting for a set to come up cheap or free lol

thank you there will be a bit more to come soon i will be building an inlet manifold for the big throttle bodie

Hi mate, how did the puma engine go with the bodies on?

Um... That isn't going to make much boost. I used to run an M45 on a 2.0 blacktop and maxed out s/c RPM at 7psi with a smaller pulley. I'm now running an M62 with smaller pulley to create 15psi.

The M24 - 390cc per rev
The M45 - 750cc per rev
The M62 - 1000cc per rev.

The good news is the M24 can handle around 17,000 rpm max (although efficiency isn't great up there) so you should be able to see about 4psi with the correct pulley sizing.
It will be a good place for your to get going in the supercharger world though!

Good luck

Matt

Aye looked at going with throttle bodies like my track car then thought everyone's doing that then turbos but it's a bit pointless getting rid of my stainless exhaust and making my own manifold/ down pipe when I have a spare pulley on the crank and a load of space in the bay

It makes for a fun drive. My M45 on a 2.0 blacktop made 7psi and about 185bhp. The good bit was hitting the throttle and it was making 5psi at 2,000rpm!!

Not wanting to break your heart, but you'll need to overspeed the crap out of that charger to get worthwile gains. Try to keep the pipework to a minimum aswell. Otherwise I like what you've done

After looking at the supercharger boost pressure map, it should make around 3 psi at max rpm. Be a nice gentle start into supercharging.

Andddddd, will be easy to upgrade the unit to an m45 at a later date....all the pipe work will be the same
