when i bought it i got a graph showing 352 bhp i think,but that was a while ago.
once the underside is done ill put the engine back in ill get it running on the l6 it came with,but ive got a l8 ecu chipped for greys and all of msd toys on,so hopfully running more like 380 when its set up.
also got this to go on.

i payed about Ł1100 but i must have had it for 8-9 years,then i the powder coating on top of that.

no not yet havent had a chance to ring today at work plus didnt have the number lol, ill do it tho what paint did you use to paint your cams want mine done silver

 

i used an etch primer first then gloss black by plasti-kote,you can buy it at your local wilkinsons.

looking very nice ,just need the lip cleaning off with a flap wheel if new pads going in

 

theres plenty of meat left on the pads mate so gona re-use them for now,i intend to put larger discs on the rear at a later date.

Just to give you a little update, ive sold the escort already and brought myself a M3, still miss the 3dr tho lol

yeah i know what you mean mate,its not going to be on the road any time soon,you know how it starts,you take somthing off to clean it then you take somthing else off next thing you know youve got a shed full of cossy bits.

 

Love the colour and your attention to detail. It makes it all worthwhile for me to see a motor being freshened up and looked after like its new.

Who does you aluminium welding?

 

i used these mate,to be honest i used these because i was working on a site over the road,but i would like to find somone closer and somone who does what i asked them to do,if you look at the rocker cover at the start of my thread when its still red they welded my jic fitting on the top when i asked them to weld it on the underside so the weld could not be seen.

more cleaning done today this time rear caliper brackets.ready for coating after the new year.

What did you use to clean them? Theyre bling

 

used a combination of wire wheels,flap wheels,and steel files to remove the casting ridges.

 

todays jobs,cleaned up the downpipe now ready for lamda boss to be welded in.

the rest of the exhaust to be done sometime soon.
when i bought my front strut brace it had been painted matt black with rattle cans,so removed the paint,ready for powder coating in the new year.
