6 degree rear beam. Newly built 3.9 ratio Supra diff and fitting kit from MK motorsport. Short ratio box from Bara thats been converted to hyd clutch so it should be a much more comfortable drive.

Well decided to get off my arse and get something done to this since there a few boxes in the garage for it!
Sorry it's dark but broke my light which made this really easy!
And after a lot of messing around in the dark....
All this hassle so I can fit this in..
It's away to Meercat exhausts (same guy that made the custom system) to get some modifications and so the 2wd manifold will fit.

The box is a bara close ratio, sounds great! Need to get a video uploaded of it in action. The spec is getting changed a bit in January I am getting a link ECU fitted and mapped donut should drive a bit better too. Looking forward to that.

The reason I ask is that I am speaking to bara now about a close ratio box for my 4x4 Cossie Pug 205 and we have been talking fixit v quaife v Oppliger and Oppliger seems to be the most cost effective route and also seems to be Mark sheads choice.

I imagine Bara has put an oppliger gear kit in there as he doesnt produce his own boxes as far as I am aware? He is the guru of building and testing boxes and not a manufacturer of the hardware (I may be wrong)

Honestly couldnt tell you about the internals mate, i knew at the time but ive forgotted, if you ask him he knows me mate he will know. Baras a cracking guy does good work and i have used him for a couple of things.
Thanks for the comments guys but Glen I'm sad to tell you mate that i will probably be selling early next year mate. I want to get it mapped with the new turbo and Link ecu on it and get a couple of runs in it but its time for me to sell up i think. Its a waste in my garage to be honest. Because i have had it for so long and beacuse its so clean i dont take it out which is a shame. So i think i am going to sell and buy a superchargered ariel atom. that way i can get some use out of it. I am still building my WRC escos the now too so i have plenty to do. Its a big ornament for me mate. A really nice one mind you!

It does seem odd to spend all that money on the gearbox, diff and rear beam to then sell the car as it is unlikely that you will get ALL the money back. I assume the car will not get broken but if it does please let me know about the gearbox as I am about to buy one. Did the old box have a problem?

If i do sell it i would prefer the car was "perfect" dont want to sell something i'm not completely happy with. I was advised to change the box and diff because we were going for a little more power, I was running under 380bhp and with the new set up we would be around 450 and thats where box's turn to chocolate. I never had any probs with my box, was actually going to keep it for a spare, turns out i sold it and the new owner has had a problem with it but i think he was running over 400bhp. Ive sent Bara an email to ask what kit is in mine for you.

If you do decide to sell please let me know as I know someone with a big car collection and he does like these.

Had a little incident when I took my turbo to the hardware place to get the correct bolts to fit my trouser section into my turbo. In my exuberance on the slidey roads my turbo went for a wee roll in the boot! And I did this...
Thought I had maybe burst the thread inside the housing but it's ok and it had broken this luckily.
But we got the nuts and bolts so I got my minions onto the job. Teaching the wee man a little to keep him away from the playstation!
Neat job too
The other piece of the manifolds on but I have bought some heat reflective sheets that I want to put on. That's going to be a pain with all the stuff in place but I'm going to give it a try. Forgot to take a pic!

ach it's ok, AET turbos fired one on the post free of charge once I told them what a dafty I was!
I was planning on putting a set of Rota Grids on so that nobody else had them, I have 5 stud hubs from a granada 4x4 that I was going to use but I noticed you can get rotas in normal ford fitment. So ideas on a postcard boys , what wheels should I get that are in 5 x112 pcd? Want something original, I'm currently looking at the 3sdm styles.......
