got them here ready aswell as another set of race numbers, the bonnet was only painted a couple of hours before we fitted it so going to wait till later in the week to fit them to let the paint harden a bit

wont be going to this one but next month we will be there but racing in the britcar championship with the accord, will be a mint weekend for racing as the britcar is a 2.5hr race the nsscc is on and the scottish saloon cars. best of luck with your race.

I got the car scrutineered on tuesday as I didn't want any suprises ruining my weekend.
It failed on a few things, gear stick gaiter missing and some bolts were too short in the rollcage, it also failed as where I had removed the soundeadening from the floor it had left original pressing holes in the floor in both front footwells, tonight I covered these with tin plate and changed the cage bolts, the car is now finished and ready for this weekend..
really can't wait now!

i wont need much to get the 3dr to race spec by the looks of things, i just need to get it running first!

how much is it to take the race license test, and how much is race entry etc?

typical prices for first timers this is about what I paid (I got my medical done on the cheap tho)

go racing pack £60
ards test £275
medical £100
National B licence £51
safety gear, suit ,helmet, boots, gloves, £700
transponder £250 (secondhand) £350 new
championship entry £115
each race weekend £280
car preps about 2k(to convert from track car to race car) inc tyres at £450 for 4 toyo R888 not to mention many hours of work!
