Right UPDATE:
Car is booked in for a Ł2300 paint job next week ..........OUCH, but hey ho you get what you pay for in my opinion. that will include inside and out, door shuts, then 4 coats of base, and 4 coats of laquer, then the laquer will be flatted, then laquered again then flatted again, i have been promised no sinkage, shit in the paint, or orange peel, and NOTHING but perfection when i turn to pick it up.
we have fitted the front mount intercooler, and redirected the air filter into a pretty cool place IMO, finally the cars back on 4 wheels after 7 months and is sitting lovely on its new suspension.
i have also replaced all the wishbones, drop links, steering rack, universal joint and track rod ends, to go with the new parts on the rear
Anyways heres a few pics, let me know what u think

the offset of cossie rims are ET25 and a fiesta is ET35, i know they look lovley but the handling is so comprimised, if you don't want to take my word for it do a search on ft.com and you'll see the amount of issues people have had

All the front end finished with new wishbones, droplinks, anti roll bar bushes, wheelbearings, steering rack and a few powdercoated bits
relocated the air filter so it gets a nice cold air feed
Back end done

All comments welcome

Excellent, the powder coated bits look really nice and the IC and air filter looks meen on it. The Escort Cosworth wheels do look the shiz on them too. That should be a damn good paint job if they do what you asked of them

Well popped to the paintshop today, half the cars been fillered and primed, just waiting for the dent man to do a couple of tiny parking dents then the rest can be primed hes taking a while.....but....he knows im fussy and im happy so far couple of pics, not the best as it was against a wall at the time:
in the oven just before priming:
intercooler being cut and tried/tested, not to happy with the way theres a gap on one side, although it has the air filter sat in so gets a good air feed, will decide what i like later...maybe a square plate etc? what do u guys think?
will upload when i pop back into the paintshop in a few days
