mate if you want them to last make sure to sand them down to bare metal! then the ussuals etch primer, filler etc

Mate powder doesnt go off on its own, well the stuff we use at work doesnt. I'm pretty sure that all powder needs baking at 200 c

New uprated injectors

Passengerside front inner arch sorted out and stonechipped:

driverside front inner arch sorted and stonechipped

Underneath sorted ans stonechipped:


Rear passenger quarter ready

Drvers side rear quarter ready

passengerside sill ready

drivers side sill ready

back panel ready

Just waiting on 2 front wings and she will be in for the filler to be rubbed down and paint

looks good my friend ... stick at it .. re shelling as folk have said may have been easier option but sometimes easier isnt the way forward. You'll have a better sense of acheivement when its all done mate rather than a " simple " re shell !!

Iv just got a 1990 escort planning on doin a rs conversion thought that was a big job and looking at them pics I'm glad the shell isn't that bad stick at it mate be well worth the effort

Tyres removed and wheels off to be shotblasted before having a couple of kerb marks repaired and then painted Anthracite

if its left to just go off then it is not powder coat as it is what it says it is ,its a powder that has to be heated up to a point that the powder melts & becomes one even surface .if its just left to go off then surelly its got to be either conventional paint or possibly stove enamel with out the stove as it is a paint that will go off with out heat but more durable with heat .i hope that makes sense

well i just bought a t3 and -31 actuator of a mate and there is no play at all
only thing that is missing are the oil and water feed metal pipes so if anyone has any pm me, or i will be of to ford AGAIN lol

well cars pretty much ready for paint now:






Starting to look like a car again now

Even sorted the rear axle, suspension and brakes, and fitted the new handbrake cables, shoes, cylinders, and wheel bearings
