Okay so tha last update before the new year.
finished of welding the floors and inner sills. so thats the inside solid.
like i said before you will be seeing alot of seem welding. so heres one side of the bay.
then cleaned up
The welds need abit of grinding here and there but im really happy with it. even tho its more for strength i think it looks proper cool it gives the car a real motorsports look. we have also added alot of extra stengthening plates around variose ares of the car. some are visable and some will blend in a not be noticable.
So the plans for next year. get it solid by the end of jan, archs finished and outer sills. with the roof and bulk head cut out.
Then off to rob to fit this.
The original plan was just to get a bolt in but i thaught fooook it and go all out get the proper real deal.
oh yeah and its getting sandblasted well alot of it is. mainly the areas you cant get to with the grinder.
thats it for the duration of this year chaps. merrrry xmas!!! 8)

people keep asking me that lol. i just pay for it at the end of each month. this project will drag on for a while so im in no rush, as soon as the shell is painted im gunna put it in the garage on its wheels and leave it for a while i think.
i do alot of the donky work on the shell to keep cost down. with marks ( the painters) approval ovcourse haha.

lol, ive noticed people asking that to mate haha.
to be fair everyone, if your living at home and your only love is your car then its easy enough to spunk this sorta cash on it. But if you have a girlfriend who wants to go out with you each weekend plus like me a everyday car to run then u can only set aside a small amount, sometimes nothing at times like now being christmas, unless of course your one of the lucky ones who earns like 2 grand a month take home, certainly not me lol!!!
Cant believe how far your going with this mate, is gonna be epic when finished, i personally cant wait to just see it in paint, gonna look awesome!!!
