Default euro mk4 escort project

about a year ago i owned a mk4 1.4l escort
i sold it to a mate who decided that he wanted to euro with it
so ive been enlisted to do most of the work
progress will be slow but we want it to be right
so here it was

i started to strip it to see what we had to work with

i soon discovered that the rear arches were going to need replacing
but worse than that the drivers side rear inner arch would also need some work
so i cut most of the rear quarter off to see if it could be salvaged

i then trimmed back the inner arch

cut out the rotton bit and put in a bit from a donor car we had

then trialled up the new inner arch

while i had a grinder in hand i cut the front wing off to see what the inner was like

and ive also made a start smoothing the bay as its going to have a hidden loom
