my mate just brought up a load of bits he had powder coated for me 
i have also fitted the swing arms, and coilovers from the wifes car to keep the arms up, but and a BIG but , her coilover platforms are seized on but i'm hoping that a good soaking in wd40 will help.

yeah going to clean up brake master and paint the block and then start bolting engine back together, i'm not sure what colour to do the cam cover

Depends what colour scheme you're using with the hoses. Keep in neutral, too many cossie's with a mix of red and blue give off the Halfords cheap look, regardless of named brands. Keep it looking menacing with a nice subtle mix against the white paint on the shell, so I'd go black.

not done much today, cleaned the blcok and painted it and cleaned and fitted the brake master

Looking good 
Best lightly sand a bit of paint off the base points of the parts you're bolting to the block i.e. arms, alternator bracket etc. so you can ensure the paint won't crack when you torque the bolts and you get a good contact between both surfaces.
What specs the engine going to be?

spec wise it's staying as it was in my sapph
lightened/balanced crank, low comp pocketed pistons with cut outs, polished/ported head, 3 bar, 803's, t34 hybrid etc

it's quick enough as it is mate, and i have given this engine death and it's still here, so no changes just a new shiny body for it to go in

this is true, my old sapph bodywork died, so it was a natural conversion, i will take some pics of the wifes car when it comes out from the other garage

fitted new rear wheel bearing tonight and discovered one of the hubs are buggered so i am asking if anyone has a spare they would like to donate me please, ask i don't want this deleted as a wanted post

thanks to a good friend i got a hub sorted, cheers Dave , been in the garage tonight cleaning and painting things, but only a little tease, a before and after of the injectors.

I have a Harvey Gibbs chip for an L8, Pectel Board and Greens if you want it? But obviously you need an L8 ECU. Mine flew with that set up, mad little package!

ok, tonights update, Dave Whizzy kindly sent me a rear hub complete , many thanks mate, unfortunately it is not a cosworth one :-( ,
so please does anyone have a spare preferably a left hand thread side one with the shaft .
