Not had anytime on the Orion for a couple of weeks due to work and sorting other peoples cars out
I have however managed to paint most of the inside of the Orion with a roller
The engine for my other Orion is coming together nicely now

Still a couple of holes in the wheel well to sort but its cleaned it up no end

Just having the upper dash and 2 Recaros fitted to keep the weight down
No carpet, door cards or back seats being fitted for now

Beginning of the week started off with good intensions to rip in and get Pov built and running. . .
As the weeks gone on I've felt worse and worse, real bad man flu or swine flu. . . haven't bothered going the docs, its a right pain trying to get a appointment and they wont do owt . . .
Anyway a few pics of alittle progress. should be running for next weekend now

Started stone chipping the underside Dunno why just think it'll protect it and it'll look better. Dont do things by half here, its all or nothing lol

Still got a few repairs to sort on the wheel well hence not all stone chipped

When it goes for MOT im gonna take a couple more tins of stone chip and while he's not looking touch in any missed areas, its akward doing this at home on the floor

Maybe I was abit rough when I cut the springs down

Borrowed the rug doctor from Focus the other week, misses wanted the carpets cleaned in the house, I just wanted to clean the 90's spec up lol

Had a reducer made up at work in the week, so I use the standard water pipe coming off the zetec water pump 4.5cm bore, which then reduces to 3cm bore so I can then use the standard CVH water pipe which allow good clearance round the alternator Abit mixed and match but should work a treat and cost me 50p for a can of pop lol

Just a couple of arty wanna be shots . . . Not bad for a phone camera

Looks cool mate

A friend of mine got fucked off with having no carpet in his car, especially when getting in with wet shoes, so he cut the carpet under the seats and just fitted the front bit, made it a lot comfier!

POV got towed the other night to my mates garage to make the exhaust up 8) So far. . . . Modded the tailpipe, downpipe made up, and sourced another exhaust manifold with egr blanked off with proper allen key bolts.

Only a couple of quick pics for now, one with the standard Focus RS tailpipe welded to a standard orion 1600i system, looks suttle . . . should be quiet which is how I want this one.
Downpipe made up, bought new exhaust hangers so its a nice tight fit to the floor and dont move  Its not far off running now  Cant wait

Just fuel pump to hang while its on the ramps Better pics soon
