JIMBO:
dont supose your dad has a spare wrc front bumper and spoiler kicking around that he might want to sell does he?
or maybe you could convince him to donate the carbon spoiler he has (where did he get it?)
having a lapse of insanity and thinking of going down the wrc route... maybe

Hello,
realy nice project...
i have seen, that you seem to have the same problem than i had!
The Stabilyzer linkage hase to be 90° twisted on one side...
i had seen it on that pic..
i did toke a linkage from a BMW, it was E39 (non sportive versions!)
i can post a pic...
The linkage is 240mm length with M10 but twisted over 90°, so it gives a version for the right and one for the left side..
The original one also dosnt fit on my Coilovers...
Maybe you still need this information, if not.. just ignore me..
some similarities in our projects...
here is mine..

woohoo, update time finally
first i'll show ya one of the problem's im up against
that bit of pipe that's basically sitting on the exhaust down pipe is the water pump outlet bit
hoping i can cut it back and get a tight 90 degree bit of samco one there? very tight though!! i just hope the exhaust heat wrap i have will stop the down pipe melting the hose that'll be on there.?!
that's a problem for another day anyway.
managed to get over my other problem with the brake resevior(sp?) thing
pic doesn't show it, but i can just about fit a sliver of cardboard between the hose and resevior, so chuffed it was ok, that could well have turn't into a right night mare!
got some more goodie's turn up aswel... pic's:
couple of boost hose's and a little bit for my oil breather...
exhaust heat wrap
white vacume hose
nice shiney intercooler
and got all these boost pipe bit for an extra Ł20 (coudn't say no really)
samco reducer peice to go from turbo to boost pipe...
that's it for goodie's, did buy other bit's but they still havn't turn't up yet
managed to get a few bit's done to the car..
fitted the oil cooler up
just need to plumb it in now
temp fitted the rad & intercooler to get the pipe's cut and fitted, and to see how much room i have, just need to make up some bracket's to bolt it in properly now
you can sort of see how close the boost pipe is to the exhaust in that pic, hoping the heat wrap will stop it getting too much heat soak, but then that's befour it goes though the intercooler anyway.
then i temp fitted the oil breather, very tight again!!
and finally, fitted my grp A cossie k&n, stick's out to far atm though, so need to chop the hose down abit so it'll fit under the bonnet...
that's it until the new year now i think, unless me and the mrs fall out, inwhich case i have a good excuse to go up and do some more lol
hope y'all like

if its a road car dont bother with in car fuel cell mate they smell of fuel all the time, noisy ect
also the water pump problem
can you not cut it and reweld it so the pipe faces out the front, even fab it up in all turns so the pipe if right out the way of that down pipe which is gonna be glowing !

oh right didn't no they smelt of petrol all the time, be leaving that idea, dont want my 6month old daughter getting high lol
im hoping to cut the water pump bit down closer to the block, but leave enough space to get a tight 90degree bit of samco on there, and put a fair bit of heat wrap round the down pipe where it passes the samco, i have no other way of fabbing it, very limited on tool's

yeh i can see what your saying, it is one of my main concern's, im just trying to avoid taking it off again as it was a right mare to get in in the first place but then i spose it could turn into an even bigger problem if i dont sort it out...
think i'll just grit my teeth and remove it, see what i can have done to make it come out at an angle...?
certainly wont be doing anything until after christmas either way
