Too soon for ford fair mate I'm afraid, not by much I don't reckon but a little,
Got a few hours on it last nite, first time in a while due to new
House and stuff but still love working on it,
Decided the race tech dash looked crap in the binnacle, was hard to mount and just generally not happy with it so I welded up an ally bracket and got it properly mounted on the column

The bracket will look a bit better after powder coating and I will also make up a small sun shade to go around the dash to make visability better at all angles
Back on it tonight to re fit rest of fuel and oil hoses
Thanks
Marc

I know that feeling mate,
Once the wiring is done and paid for i still have to tax it, mot it, change insurance from laid up to road cover and then get it set up on the hub dyno and then a full geometry set up then a set of road legal tyres....
That's at least another 2k

And pedal box had leaking banjo's due to shit thin crush washers so had to drain and mop all that lot up,, awkward/annoying/frustrating but all part if these sort of cars an what we do so nothing I can't deal with
Got a full day on it tomorrow

Just looked back through the thread out of interest to see when was the last time the car left the garage and it was exactly 3 years ago this week when it went for paint lol
That time has flown by and I'm getting old, best hurry up and get it done and on track lol

Rob - everyone has there limits with these things ay,
Caddy shack - I don't know your circumstances with your car in the shop etc but 6 months would piss me off too, I try to always strongly stipulate a date things will be done by give or take a few weeks for genuine hold ups as there always is things that can't be helped, mine should be back in 4 to 5 weeks
