Well I decided to start stripping it today

Bumper off, gave it a little kick and....

The hole got bigger!

oh dear

passenger rear floor

passenger front footwell, jacking point coming through the floor!

inner quarter, mmm chewing gum!

Inside of badly repaired fuel filler.

I've seen worse but I'm gonna be busy!
Can't wait to start cutting out the rot, just need to learn to weld!!! Any advice is welcome!

Got some more work done the past couple of weeks, dash is now out, fuel tank and exhaust removed and crappy badly wired alarm all taken out! Best of all I'm enjoying taking it all to bits, it's a good learning process!

how not to wire a radio!!!

How not to wire an alarm!!!
took me ages to unwrap all the wiring and figure out what wasn't needed!

removed this mess!

one day I'll figure out what these wires are for!

Fuel filler

Someone has tried to weld rust!

Inside passenger rear quarter, little hole in inner arch.

No pics of passenger front wing as it is good but I can't get the kit off as the fixings are turning as I turn the nuts!

Fuel tank not too bad, 2 bolts needed cut off to get it out!

Under fuel tank

Rear drivers side chassis rail

Brake lines held with cable ties!

More to follow, only got a small garage so I'm gonna do the rear first then start on the rest!
I just bought it originally to tart up and use but now Im getting obsessed and I want it all perfect!
Gonna stay with original engine for now, but I'm getting addicted to ebay and keep wanting more!

Been busy today poking at bits with a screwdriver and making some nice holes. Also got the grinder and wire brush kindled up to see how bad things were, photos to follow when it drys up outside! Next on the purchase list is a welder!!

I dunno how to weld yet! I work in a factory with plenty of engineers so I know loads of folk who can teach me! I'll be practising on some scrap panels before I even touch the car! I reckon I can do a better job than whoever welded it last and just added a few snotters over the top of the metal!
