Hey, not a ford, or even remotly related! But thought i'd start a bit of a thread on here, bit of fun and will hopefully sper me on to get stuff done!

Just bought for £300, half years MOT remaining, in need of tlc but I think has some potential! Plan on making it shine, bit of a Sunday drive car

ford owned jag from 1989 so the jag here is a ford ish one

 

Ah I see! I know when I take Jags apart, a lot of the components inside have Ford stamps on them, but I don't think I've done one made after 2008 anyway, so that's probably why I've not seen a Tata logo on one

 

Ok, finally got some work done. The car had been sitting up a farm for 3 months and as you can tell by the original photo, looking a little glum. Haven't done a great deal so far, just the following....

Full service
New rear bumper+chrome
Replaced sunroof panel
New wheels
Sorted some wiring
Gave her a good wash and polish

Hope you enjoy the results so far...

whole project so far, including buying the car has cost me a tad over £500

Took her out a few evenings over the weekend down the coastline in the sun, was so rewarding after all the hard work!

Good thanks, got our first baby due in 6 weeks!!! Cossie's taken a back seat at the mo cos of nursery decorating and stuff like that but coming along slowly!

Yeah we're gonna have a stand there with a few of the guys but myself and Charlie can't make it (junior will be imminent by then if he/she hasn't appeared beforehand! )...
