One last thing, can you find out what the difference is between my front towing eye and an original?? It doesn't sit right in the bumper, we might as well fix it

you would need to have one chopped off a crashed one and sent to us it would be better to change the cross member if you can get one off an older car

well the shell is now in primer and its as flat as hell once its been wet sanded it will be perfect

still need a cross member but if i paint it i can still change it afterwords its just more work

nah its a mk1 you need like a 4i 2wd not 4x4 cos there mk2 they have the same one as whats on there now

The towing eye is unique to the 3dr cosworth as its extended and lowered to fit through the slats of the front bumper, the one in the pic of the car is the correct one but for some reason on all the replacement shells Ive had they were bent down slightly which fouls the bumper, they just need bending up slightly to sort the problem, a bottle jack etc under it when the car is fully built up less bumper usually sorts the problem
