Its soooo easy to get an orange peal free finish on flat surfaces but get it wrong on other panels and its run city!!!

i still have half a day of flatting ahead of me but i pollished a bit up today from 1500 with g3 and it looked loads better excuse my ugly mug i did try to hide
still not perfect but it aint far away

top job jacko,you sure do put the effort in to get a top finish,ive seen loads of spray jobs that just get a quick going over with the hose before the punter arrives ,no flatting, no polishing ,nothing except water to hide crap jobs.

its just not up to our standard
we used a more expensive paint that we where told by the rep was the best you could get and it just isnt as good we have used the same make paint in red and white and it was perfect but for some reason the black isnt that nice a gloss the black we usualy use is deeper a finnish so im going to redo it so its spot on

no good news Jacko, but you are doing the right thing,if you are not happy maybe Martin won't be,and it will be your work that will be getting talked about when its complete...good or bad....i certainly know what you want it to be.

I was just about to say what a shit job, there is what looks like an almighty chip out of the paint, then I scrolled down and realised the chip moved. Wiped my laptop screen and hey presto, gleaming paintwork.

jacko! how much for a spray job on my 3 door, black good condition no real bodywork required( as far as i can see) also where bouts you work, cant find anyone up here thats got a good reputation for painting cars and your work looks awsome!!
