what bits need sorting as ill finish mopping the car tomorrow and just got to paint some bits on door and quarter so monday it should all be mopped up and finished

 

Its going alright so far ive only been doing a few miles every now and then at nights theres still afew other bits i want to get being a vernier pulley so i can get it timed up bang on and a set of blue leads as the red ones dont look right lol
Ive been working away all week so ive not had a chance to take it out this week yet but i may bring it over this weekend at some point.

Its been ages since ive updated this but its going up for sale soon so i thought i best do a catch up. The cars covered 2500 trouble free miles now apart from its penchant for eating starters motors because of the heat from the turbo
Since getting it on the road and having it set up by jamsport they advised me to fit a double capacity intercooler due to the low boost i wanted to run they said it would be more than up to the job so bigyrs cam up trumps for me and a quick lick of black paint so as not to stand out to much and she was fitted



and with the bonnet down unless you know what your looking for you wouldnt know it was there



Also i had an afternoon off work so i decided to give the car the once over with the mop to see what it came up like and i was most impressed







and my wonky number plate lol



since moping it ive been paying abit more attention to keeping the old clean so i gave it a hoover out and another coat of polish last friday after work

I'd completely forgot about leaveing them down there rich, ive still got the roof rack in the garage i took it off when i had it mopped and ive just not got round to putting it back on again yet that might be a job for sunday once ive put the engine back in the 3i.

Whats the point in selling it ? You will sell it then the new owner will scrap it within a few weeks, thats what they seem to be like with cars. Keep it in your unit, you will miss it

 

Your right i will miss it but theres a couple of things wrong with the car that i really cant warrent ploughing anymore money into fixing as ive been put on a months notice at work so i need to keep what money ive got in the bank and move this on to free up some funds in readyness for christmas if the worst does happen
