jacko was mate , but rick got tired of the delays and asked karl to finish it ,

there was some issues with the paint , but as were trying to get the car done to a quick time and jacko offerd but coulnt rectify the problems in the timescale we needed them done , so the job was passed on to someone else,

theres only the small issues with the paint outstanding really , were having a small issue matching the red for the kit repaint ,

sure it will all be sorted ,

hoping to have it all done in another week or so ,

andy , the spec was made to be around the 210-240 mark ,

this is ricks first turbo , even if hes owned if for 4 years , he only ever drove it with stock engine and he thought that was a handfull ,

idea was to but it strong and relaible , then he kan enjoy it without worry ,

its not all about horsepower fella, its about the overall package ,

beef

personally i think the little gayboy will shit it at 15 psi and wind it down to 3 psi lol

I will be happy with 230-250, the car does have problems with the paint work well alot of problems not to happy about it but its getting sorted its in good hands.

Next on the shopping list is hoses, injectors, turbo, and other silly bits and bobs probably.

Thank you for the nice comments everyone.

ok folks , aplogies on the late update , but had to do some over time this week ,

so here goes ,

THE ENGINES IN !!!!!

lol

pics

new home for the oil cooler ,

fuel tank fitted ,

and karl just taping up the cossie loom , adding new connectors ect

now for the bad news ................

the car WILL be getting a full exterior repaint , since the car arrived weve never been fully happy with the paint work , and after a repair to the fit of the drivers wing and shaving of the drivers door to get the fit right , we knew these parts would need repainting , along with the body kit ,

but upon tring to colour match the paint that was used its proving nigh on impossible , well it is impossible as no one seems to know the specififc colour used,

and when weve tried to re polish areas of the car that aparently just needed polishing , still no joy ,

so after the opinions and a cpl of local painter we know coming to view the car , rick himself has decided to have the exterior of the car repainted ,

obviously hes far from happy with the situation , jacko hasnt been contacted on the situation as not only does it feel like hes not intrested in rectifying the problems to any timescale we can work to , ricks just lost faith in his work .......

so its 1 step forward , two steps back ,

the cars going to have to have the lights stripped out ,, the whole tailgate re-stripped, to be repainted in two weeks time ,

everyone involed in the project is fucking gutted tbh , its time expense and delays that frankly everyone didnt need ,

but karl wont let the car go our put his name to it with the paintwork as shit as it currently is ,

so fear not were in this to the bitter end peeps,

big dent for rick , but he knows its the only option , !!

yeah scotty , its a big hit , but its really the only thing letting the whole car down at this point ,

rick considered leaving it for a year and get the car ran in ect , but it would just mean even more work ,

lets just say whoever masks it out has got there work cut out for them lol .

Well done lads. Gonna be a stunner when its all done.

Massive shame about the re paint but better to do it now than in a years time.

Quick question, was it Karl who done all the fabrication/welding at Blue Oval??
