some pics
thats how the car arrived last week minus us fitting the front and rear screens ,
considering the interior was immaculate when we began fitting it up in december before we left blue oval
its going to need another strip out and valet now
coverd in dust and shite
as is the engine bay
it dosnt look like its been coverd up very well
also coming with it was a hefty few number of boxes
i made a start on organising some of items needed for refitting , as they were coverd in shite and overspray , they were given a good cleaning before karl will inspect and decide what to use and what need re paint ect
also karl fiberglassed the front doorcards , they had sagged and looked worse for wear
the front wing is having to be unpicked at the rear side where it meets the door as the gaps aint 100% right , so that will need touching in ( pics to follow )
after a discussion with rick , its been decided that the full body kit , wing mirrors , bonnet and drivers door will all be repainted , anth is going to do them in his own time and will also re polish some areas that have dry spots and over spray
now im not throwing the blame at anyone , im just meerly stating the problems weve found
..........
this was all last week , but with having to work nights is been only today ive had a chance to get this update in ,
ill have an update thursday , as this week the wings been modified as it wouldnt gap correctly with the door /bonnet , the dash has been painted ,and the brake calipers have been repainted , the engine bay has been cleaned up and with a bit of luck ill get the interior back out and give it another valet

ok folks so its been around a week since the last update ,
so this weeks looks like this , alot of little time cosuming dobs done that i wont bore u with , but the main parts are like this
taks due back tomorrow from paint so that will be sortted
the fuel pupm cradel was re-removed for the new o44 fitting kit ect
stage 2 cts box and shafts ready to go in , flywheels off for skimming in the morn
special wasnt happy with the fit of the kit , alot of them get damaged when being removed , so special repaird the fronts,
this is just one of the little jobs that needed doing to make it 100% right ,
also got the front discs sorted , and buttoned up
now the big update ,
the motors built !!!!!!
bottom end together
bottom was straitforward , the top was a little more involved ,
as ricks went for a newman solid lifter cam kit,
few pics,
double valve springs ,
and all together
ricks due up at some point with his new hoses ,
but basically the plan is if we can have the flywheel turned around tomorrow , get the motor and box in the car
will prob update tuesday , with engine in , tank in , and ancillarys strting to be fitted up
not long now ,
