i love that Ka, im hoping to get my girlfriends off her and in place of the 1.3 hcs engine im putting in a zetec s 1.6. I cant believe the fact some dick has done that to your car, only thing i would say is i prefer the standard front lights (just my opinion). otherwise it looks sweet.

On a normal air-air intercooler air passes over the fins and "takes the heat away" as it were (more technically called Isochoric Process if you want to read up more about it)
A chargecooler (air-water) does the same job, but in a different way. It is basically a heat exchanger which uses water as an intermediary fluid, (as opposed to air) which is then in turn cooled by its own radiator. Simply put its more or less an intercooler in a box with water being pumped round it, this water is then fed through another radiator to cool it down. Usually used where space is a concern.

Hope thats useful mate, liking the project

I see a S2 ERST inlet, a ERST dizzy but I can't see a MFI metering unit or MFI injection lines? What management do you use?

Nice project you have there. A mate of mine was going to do an RST conversion in his, but ended up with a bolt on turbo jobbie sent over from the states instead....

He made a good few mags with it, but this one is extremely tidy looking. Good luck with it mate!
