turrets will stay as they are , to be honest theres areas in the car that lack as much sealer as ford put on anyway ,

you have to rember ford sealed them to try and make them last 25+ years ,

im willing to sacrifice a bit here n there for the sake of a clean look , the car will be stored in a carcoon ,

and its a summer toy , the car wont be used in the rain anyway lol have a hard enough time trying to keep it on road in the dry

update to follow ,

Apart from when you wash it and the damp air etc. pop some sealer or something in there as the rest is done to such a high standard would be a shame for that bit to fuck up

ok so the bays nearly there !!!, putting up a fight lol , but broke the back of it today

well k did , i was stuck waiting at the fucking airport half the bastard day

left wing prepped

as with everything a coat of red on any bare areas

then primer ,

then spun it on its side , and prepped the chassis legs ect to get them in primer

then they were scotched, wiped and primerd up

and how the lower half of the bay is now looking

tomorrow , the top half and hopefully get it on to the stands

i also think fully weld and smooth back flush it will be far neater looking and match the rest of the bay but i can also see where your coming from with the motorsport look. cant have both looks in the bay though!
