ill be using the series 1 rs turbo bodykit mate , but a custom rear end hopefully , and also eccentric top mounts and adjustable tca's in the front , to get perfect position ,
not that it will be really be an issue , as you can hide the with of the standard rear beam under s1 arches ,
going to try and get on with the car again this week as the lil bike project i had been working on has been finished
ill try and get the head bk together this week , hopefully i can convince karl to start on the porting ,

My inlets seem to get everywhere these days.
Doug,
Never had one crack yet. Some of them have been running round on T4 cars for a couple of years now.
I've seen other types of fabricated manifold crack before so i am very careful with the type of weld prep, filler material and the parent material grade and thickness i use.
Cheers,
The Best Doug.

ok folks bit of an update
currently working on getting the head sorted cleaned up ect ,
so i started on the valves today
there were already stripped from the head ,
so out came the trusty drill
into the chuck goes the valve
the drill was then gently pit in a vice to support it , and set on a med -high running speed , then using a combination of a abranet pad , and two grades or wet n dry ,
they went from this to this
then it was on with the other 15
taaaa daaaaa
inlet and exhaust
then as they were all done it was time to start on the inlet ,
as my drill wa mullerd i raided jackos tool box and found this
it air powerd rotart file or something , some fancy name
fitted with these lil bad boys lol , bought them off ebay there a scotchbrite with added flapper inserts and are quality , also got them in just scotchbrite for finishing
so started in the inlet manifold ,
before
getting there
couple more piccys
the pics dont really do it justice , but almost all the casting marks have gone and there super smooth , just need finishing with some wet n dry tomorrow ,
this along with the head , will be flapped
with my disired output 350-400 hp its not nessacary to port the head as its well capeable of doing it as standard , so this is meerly to clean out the casting marks , smooth things out ,
ill have another update end of the week , as i have some stuff to do tomorrow then its bk on finishing the inlet and starting on the head ,
this should keep miller happy
