WELL BAD NEWS TODAY! the t4 divided flange came in the post this week and ive only gone and made my 2-1 collectors the wrong way round and tacked it all up, so what i thought would be a nearly finished manifold turned out to be junk! well to say iam pissed off is an understatement. so i thought fuck it i'll go and spend another £400 on some proper 2-1 merge collectors and some more mandrel bends etc , so iam now in the process of making version mkII so watch this space and see if i can build it right this time, right going down to the shed with my head hung very low in shame

well i was going to get my own design machined out off billet alloy with 8 injectors etc , but had a really good chat with austen about the new jenvey turbo plenum and i must say this looks the dogs bollocks and has been back to back dyno tested so has also got proven air flow. now these aint cheap for the one in the pic below your talking the best part of a £1000+ vat and if you want individual throttle bodies you wont have much change from £2000+vat .so ive decided that iam having one without individual bodies but with 8 injectors. there was no point in designing something it was nearly indentical to what i wanted .
more time to do other things, yeh!

Some really nice parts in this build, gonna be a weapon.
I have a question about the exhaust though, the metal looks thin.....too thin, especially the 2-1 collectors.
Any gen?

hi mate that is the top side but the front plate is fully universal so you can have it top mounted left or right or change the back plate so it at the bottom and you can again change the deffuser left or right , fookin brill bit of kit

hi mate i have always used 1.5 mm thick 304 stainless and have never had any problems to be honest . my first manifold that i made was used on the engine dyno and was running a good 4-5 hours non stop during mapping with lots of full boost runs 30 psi. that never cracked or had any issues . there is a picture of my first manifold.
I'm still a bit.....not convinced, lol. I have a mani for my build from 1.5mm and i'm debating wether or not to put it on as i can't be arsed having to strip it down again after a few hundred mile because of it cracking. I suppose its the supporting that makes the differance and i only have a 35r to hang off it..... decision decisions.

just had another look at the inlet manifold and found out that it is fully o ringed sealed so it will be alot better for high boost applications . iam so happy i havent got to design my own and piss about getting someone decent to machine it
