Between Mike & Myself it rarely turns to shite because I PM him if it blows up on here & sort it out . I have respect for Mike, he knows its his fault that I got hooked on Topspeed runs , I was present at Mikes 180.9 run a record at the time & was well impressed.
Dont always agree with Mike, but certainly he aint on my dislike list, only 2 people on that & they dont use this Forum these days.

The engine is complete, well the one thats going on the Dyno is.
Bit unhappy I could not get the bits from the States in time, last contact was last Thursday, away for thanksgiving so no idea if my bits been sent or not. If it has it will be here on Thursday if not no idea, its all too late to plan in. So we wont know if my Ł923 would have worked or not .

Well, we decided last week to have a change of Spec involving parts from the States, they arrived last Thursday but certain parts were not correct.
I rang on Thursday but it was Thanksgiving so not at work, he said he would try to sort it over the weekend & send it Monday. However hes not answering his phone so dont know if that happened if it did we could in theory change things on Thursday but we cant really wait so the engine has been built to Similar Spec as last time with higher compression 8.7 : 1 & a higher Power rated Turbo, called a fake GT45 cos its in a 42 case size.
Hope that sorts out the confusion, on the other hand im now confused. .

The 3 Turbos shown will be used on the Dyno, winner takes all.
The one on the engine is a GT42/94 (used last time) which is smaller than the GT42/08 (FAKE gt45) thats on the right, in the centre is the new mystery part sourced from the States. If the independant tests against the Garrett are to be believed it spools quicker than the GT42/94 & makes more Power than the GT42/08. Its more efficient than the Garrett or so they say, but our independant tester does agree that it works as suggested, we shall see. I will have 2 rather large Turbos for Sale after this Dyno session .
ps. Those following the saga of the bit from the States, well it didnt arrive & wont for 8 more weeks,
E-mailed Simon pictures of the fancy exhaust housing sent & he will cobble up a solution for the Dyno run & we will worry about fittment in the car later. Thats if it wins of course or it may go in the bin .
