Mate, i know i should sorta push you forward with it and spur you on, but that is genuinely the worst S2 shell i have ever seen! Even Ash's S1 shell hasnt rotted in some of the places yours has! If you want to be driving a RST anytime soon-ie this or next summer, i strongly suggest you keep with your original idea and find a Bonus or a better S2 shell-cut the shell up and get rid of it to impress your parents and keep searching-really good S2 shells are always appearing for about £400!!! Then invite me and Ash over for a long weekend and we'll have it built

Good luck with the resto mate. I always found it helpfull when you get a bit demoralised with it to get a friend to take you out in one of there RST's. always come back with a bit more motivation.!

 

m8,i know how you feel,my rst is pretty damn rusty,the roofs worse than yours.and the underneaths a bit badcheck my resto and see for yourself m8.but im gonna crack on and sort mine.i had thought of reshelling mine but then it wouldnt be a genuine s2 escort turbo anymore so therfore im keeping up with mine.did u buy that light from tesco direct?am sure i was looking at that the other day.keep up the workregards jamie

Thats fu**ed but fair play to you mate keep charging on with it cos were gonna get to a point where there aren't even shit shells left to restore so you may aswell get yours done and its solid for years to come.
