So, mechanic blew up his subaru (surprise surpise!) and I've been wanting to have a go at tracking something.

so I bought this-

front wing was removed and beaten straight (er) witha mallet and sand bag



rear 1/4 couldn't pull with what we had, so we did what wecould than chopped the crumpled bit out, pulled some more and welded it back up!



ye-ha!!

looks good from 40 foot, in the dark, squinting...

coil over conversion kit ordered from ebay (cheap - probably shit)

poly bushes, braided hoses tomorrow.

interior stripped and 2 buckets to go in.

if anyone has some bit's let me know.

He's planing a 'ring trip 21st november, and the wheels on teh ns are not in the center of teh arch yet, so he has his work cut out for him.

should be interesting...

 

and the steering wheel has to go....
