the answer to your question is yes i am raising my arches to suit
i raised the arches by 35mm each side
got the first lot of glass on
ill get some filler in them tonight

got some filler in the arch i glassed up last night putting the curve in the top section
i cut up the other wing & got it fibre glassed up to night
ill get it in filler tomorrow

right got both wings in filler
this is how it used to be
this is how they are now used to be 115mm now its down to 55mm
ill sand it down later & see what it looks like

cheers mate im glad you like it & yes i have used rather a lot of filler(2 big tins of easy 1 filler ) doing these arches & wings ,but it is the only way i can get the shape ,at the end of the day they will go in the bin after i take a mould off them to do them in carbon

yes even with these new arches the garage door is still 400mm wider & i could always cut back the other side by another 600mm if i do need to
