The time has come 2 get my finger out and restore my RS.any advice would be great

 

got the 2k running gear on now for prepairing the shell

 

Are you painting it all underneath ,would make sense as its a new shell

 

yeah av got underseal for underneath then paint,its goin moondust silver if any1s wondering

 

DONT under seal it use stone gard it sprays on you will need about 4 cans to do the hole thing and it looks like this when done

 

O and i have a RS2000 motor for sale if you need one Ł200

 

that looks the dogs coleyst200 think il just do that cheeRS,dont need a engine tho already hav 2 LOL

 

iv now had the shell sandblasted and primed since i last posted.
some pics just after the sandblast,as u will notice there is still some surface rust.this is due to the fact that it was sandblasted outside and just after the guy was finshed it rained lol

 

so to deal with the rust problem i bought some rust eater from B-Q which is actually the shit,"apply in small doses" the instructions read,so we totally caked the shell in it lolworked a treat tho

 

with the primer onthis was done to keep passers by intrigued will get more pics up soon cheeRS

 

keep up the work.. think you need to redo the photos into some order, get them going down the page rather than across the page after each photos press return
