No but I have 8 cracked ones sitting on my garage floor!
Cheap as chips ay and Genuine Porsche (made by BERU). I got them from Jasmine Motorsport who do super cheap genuine Porsche parts. Funny thing was I called a main dealer for a price too and they quoted me £12.25 each!!! Was really surprised. Mind you, they wanted £507 plus VAT to fit them!

what do you think of the cayanne i am currently looking at them but dont know anyone who has one to get their opinion? how is it on petrol? what engine size is yours? any problems to look out for? would you buy one again?
everyone i talk to says oh poormans porsche or porsche cant make 4x4`s etc etc

Looks wise you either love them or hate them. Performance wise it comes out the factory with 450BHP (V8 twin turbo) and defies the laws of gravity weighing in at 2.5 tonnes!!!
Officially timed by EVO mag to lap bedford faster than an M3!
Comfort wise its a Porsche with an amazing interior and attention to detail on the inside and amazing build quality. Mines the Turbo so has every extra and is on air suspension too which gives you adjustable ride height and shocks at the push of a button. Electric everything with keyless go and memory for each key.
Dont expect anything above 17mpg on average, but will do around 22 on a run.
As for it being a poor mans Porsche? Are the people you speak to smoking crack? List price for a Turbo is £75K and the V8 Non Turbo "S" I think is the same as a base 911?
Overall, ive been well pleased. Its not let me down in 4 years and goes like a rocket!
Yes, coil on plug. Not sure about Donno. Ive got your Turbo and Lampda in my garage too!

Yorik is pretty much done now!!!
old suspension in a box....
as spunky new widetrack wishbones and Protec dampers have been fitted. And the light mounts and wheel arch bones have been powder coated as I am getting a bit bufty....
Boost pipes and intake pipes all finished now as well! Actuator has been modded and fitted as well...
still loving my Proalloy radiator
Turbo feed and oil filter fitted
dash all wired in... and it looks cooool when all lit up
Stu also started to make a shroud thingy to make sure as much air into the intercooler as possible... he just texted me as it now has a lid and is finished!
Soooo, with all this done.... we thought we would go for a little test drive
it goes ok

Cheers for the comments. Its turned out really nice and great to see it back on the ground with the wheels turning.
Its fair to say that the "Freshen up" and the "oportunity for Lee to learn some mechanics" this thread started out as had kinda turned into more of a bigger rebuild and fitting of lots of better and go faster parts!
I didnt get a photo to prove it but I did get Lee working yesterday. He single handedly re-fitted the carbon front wings without breaking anything!!!!
He also bought the large Dominos Pizza lunch which kept us going along with some beers. Was saving a few slices for dinner until the new project manager (seen here looking smug) decided he wanted Pizza too and stripped it bare of all meat whilst our backs were turned!
Mr Fox turned up again last night too. It was like he came to see the finished article after spending many evenings watching me work!

Well, today was a good day!
Yorik did about 10 miles this afternoon. I finally finished off all the amal valve piping, finished the intercooler ducting, refitted the nose, did the front camber and wheel alignment and took it for a drive.
Just a few miles to run the ends in and check everything was all OK. It drives lovely on Stu's map and nothing fell off which is a bonus.
Felt nice and tight on the front end with its new wishbones and shocks.
Just a few bits to finish like re-bleed the brakes with SRF fluid, change the oil to Pro S and fit the oil temp sender in the sump. Few bits of carbon and some stickers and she/he is finished and ready for a track day!!!!
Oh and it needs a good clean and polish to finish off. Will send some photos to Lee in the morning for him to post.
