Passed noise regs at 1.5 bar fine....
driving it home in the dark, wet and rain was just off the scale BAD...
I could deal with the cold and being wet... but not being able to see ANYTHING was properly scary

New brake calipers and discs all round being bought as we speak...
DESPERATELY need some kinda boost control...
I have a Blitz one that I bought for Sierra... but no cnut could ever get it working as noone had any experience of them! If you can chip that would be great?
Its a Blitz SBC DC
Would love you LONG time if you could get that working!
Its in the blackhole that is Martoons workshop at the moment. Will get him to post it. OR we could meet there and play with it on his rollers I guess?
would like 2 settings! 1.5 bar and 2 bar. Thats not much to ask is it!!!!!
ALSO on the to do list...
plumbed in fire extinguiser.
new seats maybe... mine are comfy but look poo
new wheels
Rear diff. Gripper needed I reckon. Cossie LSDs are just wank arent they?
water injection is going to be needed in the summer so will need that done as well....
PROPERLY in love with it! just great great great great fun little car.

Ive not used that specific one before, but Im sure it can be sorted easily enough mate
Get it posted down, no need for rollers for that sort of thing, can do it on the road im sure.
I'll bring up wideband and det cans just so we can make sure its behaving safely on the new exhaust with extra boost (your chip will be written for a more restrictive cossie one potentially although im sure its still safe)
Do you have a lambda bung in your new downpipe?
Do you know of a PDF of the manual online?

Appears there isnt an english manual as such?
http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=1890
Closest offered up it would appear is this one:
http://www.team3s.com/Blitz%20SBC%20i-D%20manual.pdf
I'm sure we can sort it out though mate.
Im knocking around bored on sunday the 8th of march if that is any good to you? As Im not going home that weekend cause we're at woodbridge on the 7th with the monaro, well weather permitting etc.

westfield diff will be 7 inch, cossie is 7.5 inch porkie.
The LSD from an xr4x4 rear will fit and its viscous like the cossie one. Bernie can uprate them apparently but ive no experience.
You need to check if you have push in shafts or bolt on flanges on your diff too, i think all the lsd's were bolt on.
What brakes do you have and what are you going fo out of curiosity?

I had a ZF plated in the Sierra.
Will probably get a Gripper which is a Copy of that I think?
As for Brakes. Just going for Rally design kit. They do a 285mm Wilwood 4 pot kit for a Westfield.... its very cheap and I am bit wary! but I am assured its the way forward and is alot lighter than the ones on it. Which are the original Westfield AP Kit... they worked fine for everyone else. I am just the last of the late brakers and love to really stand on them.
Carlo.... thats what happened with us and the Blitz. Just couldnt find anyone who could work it out!!! so off it came and went old skool air injectors on the Sierra.

Porkie is right, although rwd cossies are 7.5", 4wd ones are only 7"
Porkie:
Have had a quick flick through that PDF and seems simple enough, we wont need all the speed sensitive stuff anyway for what you want, its closed loop boost control it would appear, so once setup you can just dial in whatever figure you want, so it doesnt have to be limited to just 1.5 bar and 2 bar.

nope. It never worked properly....
I took it to Jamie. Then drove to Silverstone... It was overfueling at idle and fouled up the spark plugs.. had huge misfire under boost in 3rd gear and broke the Quaife Gearbox through shock loading it.
I really miss those lovely cheap days out 'developing' that car
