Hello again, yes i did get these from the US and they cost Ł460 but as usual our government wanted their slice and cost me another Ł100 to pick them up this end!
Thanks

Trial fitting the zetec in it's new bay. All look's good but the exhaust manifold is too close to the
slam panel. Can't get the manifold on or off with out removing exhaust stud's first. Which is near
on impossible with the manifold design. So i'll be cutting out some of the slam panel. Might have
trouble with the external wastegate and rad clearance yet.
But is nice to see it in tho.

I've done low 12's consistantly, like you say on road tyres getting an 11 is very impressive.

That manifold is a good design, but likely to crack IMO. Brace it.

Started on the slam panel. Also got myself a wastegate 44mm.
Bigger than i thought it would be. I think it look's mad on a mk4 Escort.

brilliant work mate, Im impressed and will prob nick your spec for the bottom end. Did you get your pistons and rods in a package and if so how much did they set you back if you dont mind me asking? Nice work on the intercooler, i got a pace double thick one and have got it mounted outside the front bumper... looks shit but keeps the temps lower, ill change it when i drop a new lump in. Pace make some shit intercoolers yet they have a great rep outside the ford community!

thanks for the pm mate, will help out alot. I know I asked you this question but thought id put it out to everyone on here too.

Je pistons with eagle rod package says on the site that it can take 900hp... ignoring that, dont you think that a compression ratio of 9to1 is a little high? Am looking into this combination but would like compression a little lower either 8 to one or 7.5 to one. Having researched the zetec crank being good for 400hp a target output of 350 is decent I think but am a little dubious of the 9 to 1 comp ration, seems a little high to me. I know rally cars have that sort of ratio but there engines get rebuilt alot more often than id care to rebuild mine
