Will a Probe block fit???

Hi just a quick question to see if anyone knows..
I'm looking to put a bigger block on my FRST ie maybe a 2 ltr Mondeo lump..but I've been offered a 2ltr Probe will the lump out of that fit?

Any ideas

isnt the probe engine a mazda engine though? Or is it just the V6?

i no the v6 is a madza one cant say iv seen the 2.0ltr one , get picks up if you can !

no that looks quite a bit diffrent cant see why it wouldnt , but i would use a mondeo, and its cheaper than £400 you can pick up a re-built engine for about £300

The 2litre Probe engine is a Mazda engine.

An FS engine, not exactly a commonly tuned engine, be lucky to find much tuning bits.

Even a mazdaspeed turbo version only gave 170bhp
