im doing a mk6 turbo atm and im wondering how you got round the PATS system?
i was taking out my old loom today and a few wires went to the module from the old ecu

rich_frst, been since the end of august matey n check u out... jus cos ur privvy to ford gear.... flash old boy
sime73, removed the whole lot matey, basically the only wiring left in the car was for lighting and interior gauges and switches, the dash had to come out to remove the modules there and jus anything else not needed by the fez ecu was junked

yeah i got it today mate , i followed the wires from it along the dash to a connector plug under the steering column which then went into another mass of wires...did u just unplug it there then leave the other wires ?

couple of new pics
cooler 'sort of' fitted
custom charge carrier, yet to be powdercoated
cars currently at grove so should (fingers crossed) get her back some point next week

yeah std IB5 atm
probly gonna go for an mtx75, cheap n simple n can handle a fair bit more torque gonna enjy killing thids one tho first

nice work fella, good to see another zetec turbo up and coming.. I've been there before so know what it's like when the problems arrive. Just one question how comes u used the fiesta rst inlet and not the original escort one

wise decision, i used the escort but modidied the fuel rail for bigger injectors and had the frst fast idle valve machined onto the back.. nice mota bet it goes well. My lump was running 330bhp and went like stink, oh and a ran a escort diesel box with rst lsd and had no problems with the box except for a hell of alot of torque steer

me mates jus gonna start doing his mrs fiesta and he was gonna use the original inlet and mod the rail, jus aint decided on what injectors he wants yet
i wouldnt know how mine goes.... i aint driven it yet
