I ll let the pictures do most of the talking

Nice wide stance from the back

4x4 Cosworth Calipers, EBC Grooved discs and Redstuff pads now reside behind the wheels

My custom made Gel wheel centres

New Number plates which are yet to be fitted

Thats it for now, hopefully all the little bits and pieces will arrive before next weekend so we can get it presentable for FITP

Guess what arrived today. All the hoses are here except one which hopefully we can get around with a bit of a bodge for now using a Ford pipe.

My brother got back from Turkey on Monday, by Tuesday night he had made me a brake fluid resivoir cover for a Mk1 Mondeo
Its been made in mild steel so the crackle paint will go on better, just needs a hole drilling into it

And the cars new mascot, a Tango man

Tomorrow night Im hopefully picking up the strut brace, header tank and other little bits from the paint shop as I ve gone crackle black crazy, more pics soon

Cheers to Rossco for painting these bits

Picked up the crackle blacked bits 8)

Wiper motor cover

Plate where most Fiestas have a locking catch for the bonnet

Mk2 Golf Bailey header tank

And last but not least, my strut brace 8) (excuse the dog bone)

This was actually made by cutting up my old strut brace and using an Omega Roll cage

Also collected my 2nd brand new spotlight from Ford tonight and a set of spot light brackets

Steve the guy helping (read helping as supervising and making all the random bits that Pete keeps buying fit) Pete build this car would agree with that statement.

Looking forward to seeing it sometime over the weekend mate.

Cheers Ross.

It has to be said that without Steve Crooks, this car would quite simply not of been built, especially to the standard it is today.
Words are quite simply not enough to say thank you to the big man and someone Im very proud to call a friend.

Spent all day today until dark finishing bits off and getting the car ready for FITP.
Car will be there but wont be running for long because we didnt have time to sort the management side of things and so its stuck with a base map and over fueling like fu(k ............ also we needed a USB serial adaptor which PC World dont stock :S
Then my fan decided to shit itself so I cant run it for very long periods of time anyway.
Door cards are about the only thing still needing to be done but will just have to look a bit untidy in the mean time.

Front Valance and Number plates fitted

Inside all tidied up

Hoses and all the Crackle black parts fitted except for the brake fluid resivoir

And Tango man hanging on for dear life
