Well it seems my piston rings are worn. The car only made 176.6bhp which although respectable should of been more.
Peak power is made at 7000 rpm
Engine will probably be removed over winter and rebuilt back up, quite possibly with new pistons and rods.

Have you done a compression test or is there any visable smoke?

They did a compression test there as he thought the car should of made more.
The car isnt smoking and isnt losing oil though so I ll probably run it as it is for now.

nice project gooey that zetec is a animal 170 so far is not to be sniffed at bet it is very rapid whats it like on torque as i plan to do a throttle bodies conversion on my 2.0 16v mondy want to have over 200bhp and a very torquey engine just got a few questions
what spec is the engine std internals etc
did you raise the comp ratio?
what size tb's you running
what injectors are you running etc
any info would be great
ps where did you get your flywheel from,also have a m8 who wants a start button like yours what the part number finis ?

fecking awesome!! seen this close up and the attention to detail and the sound is unreal. you will have to come and visit us turnip farmers again pete mate or vis versa been a while. any luck on the truck hunt
