Well the wiring has been started this weekend.

Loom in the process of been made up

Fitted the poly carb windows, what a pain in the ass :

refitted the fuel cap in the window as well

The radiator/oil cooler/fan set up

Found a problem with the front end................ or lack of it. I cant mount the standard headlights or indicators as there isnt anything to mount them on/too.

Cutting up a new panel to rectify the problem now

Escort Cossie Calipers and the RS2000 discs

Plan is to now rub the calipers down and hammerite them black, I have the spacers so will be fitting Escort Cossie discs and pads 8)

Most of the weekend was spent doing various bits of wiring, the Emerald ECU is wired and so are the Defi's and switches 8) 8) 8)

New front end evil Look

Its all very well having a great car that somebody else has built but its not the same as getting dirty with your motor and doing it how you wanna do it!!!

Because it lasted 5 miles after me buying it and wanted to build something without everybody saying "Oh look its Chris Fosters Old car" plus the fact it was a bit of a death trap.

My order minus the Silicon hoses has turned up. Tomorrow the car will see daylight for the first time this year.
Planning on fitting my Escort Cosworth EBC Redstuff Pads and EBC discs, fit the exhaust, complete all the wiring and construct some sort of throttle cable.
Im hoping to pick up my crackle blacked strut brace and wiper motor cover later tonight.
Just waiting on the hoses and my Mk2 Golf Bailey header tank, then fingers crossed it will be running

Well everything is just about done, push button start needs wiring in which has been a major headache to sort, still not sure if its going to work yet.
Forgot my camera for this installment of news but needless to say, the car appeared to change colour when it exited the workshop becoming exceptionally bright, it just needs a good wash now.
Wheels may be a bit of an issue as well but I find that out next weekend when we attempt to fit them. The RS Turbo wheels that it is currently sitting on wont clear the brakes without the aid of a 20mm spacer although it looks hard as nails sitting that wide
Exhaust is all fitted but a few clamps and the throttle linkage is all made up and working
