Default xr3i cab HELP

I have just bought a '90 xr3i Cab and on the way home it cut out as if there was no fuel. I have been told it is probably the fuel pump relay but I cant find it. Does anybody know where it is located?

easyest way to find it if its mfi is to take the vent out next to the steering wheel shine a torch down the hole and you'll see a row of relays, reach up behind the dash and pull the purple one out.

yeah its efi. Checked both the yellow relays and they both work. think the problem may be a bit deeper.

I was told if I took the back seats out I could get to the fuel pump via the inspection panel but this doesnt seem to be the case.
How do I get to the fuel pump so I can test it with a multimeter

can anybody help please? All4show thinks it may be the flywheel sensor but i aint got a clue where it is and how to clean it.
If that doesnt work can I take a feed straight from the battery, put switch on the dash and power the pump that way or does it have to go through the relay?
