My Escort Cosworth (Norwegian), update 12\08
Thougt I should make a thread about my car.
It`s a 94 Escort Cosworth, leather interior, aircon etc.. you know, the usual stuff.
Before the summer I will be doing some modifications too it. The plans are: full respray, ofcourse in the same colour Imperial blue. Fitting new wheels, new taillights, hokeysticks, rear camber shims, a pillar pod with Ford racing meters, gettin rid of that crap-mesh in the front bumper + + +
The current spec:
Lowered with H&R Coilovers at the front, and H&R shocks and springs on the rear.
Engine setup by Suhe Motorsport. Car made 290 hp on the wheels on the dyno.
(chip, 803`s, 31 actuator, 3 bar map)
sfs silicone hoses
Vibratech engine mounts
Powerflex bushes at front and rear.
Omp strutbrace
Supersprint exhaust
Suhe motorsport whale tail
And probably some things I forgot..
Some of you might have seen the car on here before.
This is how it looked last summer:
The wheels are now sold, and i bought theese ones instead, Cromodora magnesium 19"
Centrebolt hub-adaptors:
Suhe motorsport rear camber shims:
Taillights:
Reasons for respray:
The special whale tail:
underside:
Was thinking about getting a original whale tail, but have decided too keep this one. Will remove that piece in the center tough..
And a pic of the car as it stands now:
Thats it for now, hope you like it
Regards, Vidar

I currently live in Namsos
Thanks The plan is to remove the net.. It was there when I bought the car, so I dont have the original mesh for it. It aint easy too get hold of that either, but will try to get one.

Took the spoilers off the bootlid tonight.
Didnt look bad at all underneath, just some scratches and some surface rust.
Just needs sanding down, and it will be good as new!

Side skirts off
Of course broke some off the clips
Look how much sand there was inside them
No sign of rust anywhere, the shell is in really good condition. Well happy with that

Love this car! The deep dish rims are superb, although nothing really comes close to a Cromodorra Foss!
Nice work your doing with the car mate! Personally i'd lose that spoiler extension, looks terrible

Thanks for the comments!
Started sanding down the car, will finish the sanding tomorrow night and hopefully have it painted on wednesday or thursday.
Got an RS500 intercooler in the mail
Also ordered a new whale-tail today.
