Little update,
The hose that Matt Lewis had made for me in 5 ply seems to have solved the issue with the hose crushing - looks far better constructed

And now for my turbo hanger, as i run the actuator down the head side of the turbo and having the oil feed going over the top of the actuator rod and just pretty much no way at all the damper bracket that mounts to the turbo can be fitted the only option is to go for a custom bracket and a local fabricator is knocking on up for me as we speak and this was the update i got earlier - hopefully it should be complete and back with me in a couple of days but so far so good, it is very similar to the one on Karl Norris's 3dr - i wanted it to be flamboyant and the guy is going to have loads more webbing in the centre and up to the higher level which you can just make out the shape from the image.

Collecting the car tomorrow as the mount is virtually complete, just one bar to be fitted in the centre and it's complete at that end, i've just got off the phone and he's on the bracket to mount the rose joint
Just need to pick up some longer bolts in the morning before i collect.
This is what i have so far

Cheers lads i've been wanting one of these for ages on this engine so happy it's another job ticked off the list.
They are made on the car so i would say anyone that is a decent fabricator could knock you one up no problem, you can be short of them around your area of the country

Polished mate, i'm not one for that look normally but standing in front it looks so clean so it would be criminal to cover it - i covered my last one and the coating kept chipping when tightened down so i wouldn't bother with this.

What about doing the hanger in black chrome?
I reckon that'd look quite nice!
This is my air filter trumpet my mate did for me in black chrome (shit pic).

1 with it in my bay.

No bother Rich but Tell them to do a few different things so it doesn't look exactly the same though

Well the car hasn't really done anything since xmas but i've got a slot at the bodyshop to repaint the door shut's and inside the doors, i'll take a closer look inside the tailgate area and may even have that repainted.
Whilst it's down there i'm hoping to have the Supra diff kit here so that along with my Vibra-tech gearbox mount can be fitted. The new seal i bought for the box off eBay is leaking
another has been sourced from Burton so hopefully this one will do the job better.
Another job i got around to doing which was massively overdue was the tailgate gas dampers, since fitting the RS500 spoilers the boot was too heavy and wouldn't hold up. I've bought a new set from SGS Engineering Solutions - part No: GSC1419 £37.54 posted and they are really decent and hold the heavy tailgate up now.
