Hows it goin Richard, thanks mate! I've still not forgotten about you comin down for a look! most times ive been down recently its only been for an hour here an there so just been crackin on with it! No more updates just now, Ive got a bit of work to do in the engine bay..grinding and cleaning the paint off etc....then i'll probably put some new sound deadening in the inside and paint the inside floor and then after all grinding it can go for paint, but not sure where to take it for that yet! or wether to go diamond white or new ford 'Frozen' white (think thats the name of it?)

Looking fantastic mate, got all this to come with my XR3i when i get somewhere suitable to work on it!! For now she rests in my rented garage, hopefully not rotting and seizing away!! By the way, whats the boat paint called your using and where did you get it from and how just out of interest, obviously if its designed to stop sea water eating a boat it should be wicked for stopping the British rain!!

Richard, get it done!!! I always wanted to do mine and im sooo glad it's done now.
Deano, I couldnt tell you what it's called tbh! I got it off a mate who works with boats, i'll get a pic of the tins so I dont forget the name and show you!
It's good stuff, I cant wait to see what the top gloss coat's like on!
It's allot of work, but imo well worth it! I dont know if i'd of done it if the underside was covered in the black tar like under body sealer, that stuffs just a total messy nightmare !!
thanks for the kind comments

Alrighty...wee update seein as it's been a while, not allo's been done though!
Today I went down and took off all the soundproofing off the bulkhead and front floor pans, rear floorpans are ok so left that stuff on.
drilled holes in the bulkhead where had to cover up original holes
put all the front suspension back on minus the steering rack for the minute (need to do some grinding and my grinders chucked it ) so its nearly back on all 4 wheels, then once davids got a minute we can line up the doors/wings/scuttle panel and finnish off the welding as hopefully i'll be getting a wuote for paint not this week but next all going well!
painted the inside of the new wings before they go on.
oh and bought a B&M Quickshift from Christian at AP-T (cheers )
nice bit of kit, cant wait to try it!
Bit premature but I got an itch to buy something will compliment my freshly built G.box before I destroy that lol!
Going to order some Gaz coilovers soon too!
Couple of pics.

I'm telling you man we could both be looking at twins here ur car is at exactly the same stage as ours even as much as the ns screen pillar has the same amount of primer in the same place spooooooky.
anyway that just makes me sound stupid
ours does however now have a front end on and has left my garage after 10 months and has hit the bodyshop. all hands on deck for the next two weeks and she'll be all white again. yaaaaaaay
see what i mean?
