wee update,
hevangel, you'll be able to strip and rebuild a series 1 after this resto then?
Steve, Yea your right mate...all going to plan I want it out on the road running it in for march! fingers crossed cos we know nothing ever goes to plan
Painted all the brake linkage assembly, heater matrix cover thing, front seatbelt bottom brackets and fitted the wiper motor and linkage after painting and with a new fitting kit for where it bolts to the scuttle panel!
no pics of the brake parts yet, you'll just need to wait till its all fitted! going to get a better servo as mines is a bit rusty and will upgrade to S2 master cylinder.
so hard trying to take a pic of somthing against white lol
Pick my block up soon as well hopefully and get the crank/pistons into that!

Neil, Whatever works out best for you is the right thing to do
cheers ram!
Roro, heres a wee one
Lee, engine in? WHAT u've overshot me by a mile now
Spammage, well i've got the dash to put back in, that isnt a HUGE deal, front seats, brake and s/s fuel lines to make, build engine...got the bottom end all there it just needs assembeling...get the head overhauled and fit that..ehhh then its intercooler, inlet, ex manifold (maybe put on a std one for now Im not sure got the choice of 2 s/s tubular efforts...) then spend fortunes on boost and coolant hoses in black oh ECU and wiring loom then fit bodykit and sticker kit!...
A fair amount but the hardest parts are done imo!
RIiiight....decided to do a bit as the missus is at work and I would of came home and sat on my pie anyway....Sooo..mounted the front calipers tonight (S2 calipers, 2wd cosworth discs and caliper spacer brackets). Only took me an hour after all my huffing and puffing about how I was going to do it
2 bits ground off the lugs on the hubs, some high tensile M12x1.5 bolts some drilling and tapping and they are on
Yes I know they're all rusty but they'll clean up once used
Was going to mount my steering rack but another time! lol
cheers ram!
