nicorsts1, doesnt look half bad! what bits are needing welded?
Wee update,
Me and Dave done a bit more tonight,
David finnished welding the rear arch, it is now complete and I can get on with cleaning it up and stonechipping it (tomorow nights task)
I seam sealered a few patches and the front pass side floor pan
placed on scuttle panel and drivers side wing, just to tease myself![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
David also started making a plate up for the inner rear valance and swadged the outer valance for the new panel, fair bit done in the short time we had!
heres the pics (doh none of the arch!)
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/vroooom_ptssssh/My%20Car/S1%20Resto/DSC00699.jpg)
How the car sits at the mo, nice an high so I can get in about the arch (and eventually the underside)
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/vroooom_ptssssh/My%20Car/S1%20Resto/DSC00704.jpg)
Pass side arch stone chipped, left a patch as that still needs sorted)

![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/vroooom_ptssssh/My%20Car/S1%20Resto/DSC00711.jpg)
Rear valance begining to get repaired
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/vroooom_ptssssh/My%20Car/S1%20Resto/DSC00712.jpg)
well pleased it's coming together

[QUOTE=vroooom ptssssh;3337076]nicorsts1, doesnt look half bad! what bits are needing welded?
The front panels full of filler, front cross memebrs rotten, the front wings are ok but i've somehow ended up with 2 lots of genuine ford wings so while i'm doing the cross memebr n front i might aswell do it right and fit a new set, plus i can see if the inner wings are alright. The n/s sills gone badly, and on the inside near the rear quarters on both sides. The floor pans got a few hidden problems too
so theres a fair bit to do. But like people say, its all worth doing in the end, can't beat the look of good mint S1.
Yours is coming on nicely pal, good to watch your progress, top stuff.

Rightyho, been a wee bit busy...
done some grindin here an their, cleaned the rear drivers side arch and put on the first layer of stonechip!
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/vroooom_ptssssh/My%20Car/S1%20Resto/DSC00737.jpg)
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/vroooom_ptssssh/My%20Car/S1%20Resto/DSC00738.jpg)
Then decided it was time to get the whole back end in the air so the rear underside could be cleaned up and stonechipped!
What a ball ache with a crap jack and lots of spare wheels to prob it up on
made a brilliant see-saw tho!
