Well here it is, my new project- i had the idea a while back and just fancied sumthing real challenging??? My old boys let me have a little time off work to get started with it, which is real nice of him!



It was sat in my shed for ages hence the inch thick coating of dust. Just got bored of the xr lump so i never finished it off???

Thanks for the comments it is really tight, if they'd made certain
things just an inch bigger it wunt be happening!!!! Did some more chopping today n made the front engine mount too, need some after market mounts on either end of engine- has any1 used VIBRA-TECHNICS mounts before, are they any good??

A small update from today- mainly been gettin engine lined up perfect, everytime i put the engine in it gets better n better but i keep losing parts of my chassis somewhere??







Also been on with this- mates cr500 resto?

Thats it for the mo, need to do some research on engine mounts now!!

 

I had a nice honda cr500 hibred but some WANKER wonted it so they tuck it

I read ur thread the other day- its a bludy crap feelin is that, iv lost 3 or 4 due to thieving b**S*ARds!!! I stick with things that are too big too walk away with now?

This gonna be fantastic when its done,and PROPERLY fast.

STs have shitloads of power from 1500rpm up so its gonna be a mental cabby to drive
