Cheers Tony bud, the paint isn't perfect bud, a few thin places on it that don't show in the pictures.
If it was finished I would get it blown over but I am going to leave it for now.
Maybe give you a shout to look at it when time is right?

Started my engine build this week as thought I need to do something constructive towards this car lol
Had my block back last week after sump mismatch piece being made and also had the block sent for reboring to correct bore to suit new pistons.
Currently sat in my utility room at home lol the wifes not not to sure whether me selling the house next year for a move to one with a guarage is going to be a good idea lol

Checking piston clearances
Deciding whether to use IKE or ARROW rods as both have perfect clearances but I think I'll go with IKE just because they're nice and new lol
I did recieve my head last week as been completed, massive ports good flow bench readings and larger valves plus solid lifters, couple of things I wernt happy with though so it went back.
Will get pic's up of it as soon as it comes back to me again.
Will plod on atm though, need to dip the block to clean and then I'll start the build up.

Is that a pic up line Tony? 
Had another set of earocatches arrive as first set wernt locable but decided to keep both sets so can fir one set to bonnet and one to boot locking both.
Bit of a set back on cylinder head, sent it back for fault I wasn't happy with it and it's not fixable. Another head is boxed up ready to post off to ALD to be reworked.

Thanks Ross, long time no speak mate. You back in the country yet?
Pulled me ALD L&B KNife edge crank out of storage and it is due fresh oil on it any way and sat it in the clean block.
Don't know if this is the one being fitted yet as I am contemplating putting it in Sams escort maxi engine and using steel crank I have in this!
It's a good looking crank and goes well wih the ALD Lightened and balanced fly wheel.
You can see the modifed block in last pic for the 2L sump to fit.
Either way which ever is used is going to be all balanced together with fly and pully next month as I want to double check all parts.

Another customers 2.3 lurking in the corner
My 2.2 at the rear
So chuffed I have some where nice again!!! even better than befor too as now have concrete floors.
Working on a couple of 2.3 for customers atm though so wont be doing much to L2 atm but hopefully soon will have updates!
Been tidying up my RS2000 spares catalogue also lol

Bit of a pathetic update tbh but thought I'd update thread any way lol
I went to lock up yesterday to drop some things off and decided whilst there to grab dremmel and cut me bonnet up lol
Fitted one of my bonnet AeroCatches and went back today to fit the second one too.
I really like them and think they add to the agressive look.
I have still been working on parts for the car! new throttle bodies should be ordered in next few weeks as ones I want arent a shelf item.
New inlets have been cnc'd for mine and two other engine I am building for to other forged RS's.
My new cylinder head is finished and ready for collection just not been able to get to get it yet.
New dry sump will be progressed with soon also when I get around to posting parts off lol
Will try do more soon!

I wasnt happy at the way the aerocatches bolted into the out bonnet skin so I looked into having some plates made for backing then a kind lad on passionford pointed out that they are being sold through demontweaks lol so ordered some!
Then Ben aka Mcflycossie was refufbing his Brembo's and had some spare stickers he was willing to send to me so I fitted them to my new Brembo's, look mint!!!
Now the bit I am chuffed about... managed to get myself this ATL 15 Gallen Fuel Tank with full length braided lines, pump amd filter all with aeroquip fittings and will plumb strate into mine as it was removed from a sadly broken Escort Maxi F2.
Will be refurbing the tank before it's bolted into mine though!

Heres a better picture of it in the car, had a chat to me mate Tim today deciding how best to mount it and going to shim off the eccess edges and mount on custom made 2" U aluminium plates.
I think silver or grey like has been said will be best colour to go for.

I thought fuck it and decided to get these for myself as I just want the bugger running, was going for different spec t/b's but once running I can change!
48mm Jenvies, still having a new inlet CNC'd up for um as it will be usable on the later spec ones I get.
Just have to get myself some compatable injectors now too.
