Got the n/s hub on today, to find a further issue bottom arms hitting rota / disc.
I filed the rose joint slightly as only just touching, but still not enough! not happy with what I did filing lol I have already ordered a new one.
Going to 3mm spacer the disc out and after speaking with Dave, to ask if he knew where I could get my calliper brackets milled he said Ian's got a miller, so another text to Ian and he is going to mill my brakets down 3mm to move the calliper out to meet disc.
So will be next weekend before on all four wheels.

Knackered at the minute trying to find time for everything.
Wifes got me builoding a new bathroom and also redoing the daughters bedroom, tuck a long weekend off of work this weekend, thinking I'd get a day at unit, nope, two hours today
And still loads to do in the house yet.
Got an issue with TRE's atm, the Compbrake ones seems to need the track rod shortening a little, asget rid of the tow in, even when fully adjusted.
Next time up there I'll start by taking half inch off of the rods.
This is where she's at now...
Once on ground can turn around and start putting engine in and preping for fitting the dry sump, as when it was last ran, it had to have chasis leg cut and also tuck place of the PAS pump, which I want to keep, can't be arsed to start modifying for electric power steering to on top of everything else that needs doing.

Cheers Wazza, yeah hopefully give me some more insperation to move on more lol
Got my cylinder head coming back Suday too, so if the car is movable I can build up my engine in that unit quite quickly and have it in.
Just jubious about the dry sump pump location, as really dont want to have to chop the chasis leg up.

The issue isn't just cutting a bit of the leg out mate.
It's trying to figure out where and how to run the scavenger pump.
PACE ran it in the Aulternater loaction on the formula asia cars.

I want to keep my PAS pump and Ault in same locations and at the rear of the engine I think the GrpA mount gets in the way.
Going to put a bare engine in again with sump on and see what i can sort regards location of scavenger pump.
Then hopefully contact PACE and get a belt to suit.
I wish, built shit loads of flat pack tonight for daughter bedroom furniture, it never ends!

I can start driving in April mate, wouldn't have a clue when I'll do my test. I won't be on the road in April as I'll need a job to be able to pay for insurance

Looks good though...

Kev ,Not sure if you know as I didnt, if you have the same rack as mine the spline is different to the standard escort coupling. I bought a WRC coupling from dewits and fabricated/modified my column to suit (before I gof a full works column).
I discovered this last minute lol, hopefully it helps

Yup mines differnent too and I can not find the original coupling part that I had with it, probably thrown away at some point not realising it was different.
Have you any more info on the modificaiton you did Mat?

I was a bit stumped with getting the column onto the rack as the maxi racks have different splines onto the column
As I had thought I had thrown away the one I had with it not knowing they were different but I managed to find it in the end!
Not much of an update I know but this was doing my nut in as the WRC splines you can't replace as standard, Mat had to use UJ on his and weld/mod to the column, somethign I wanted to avoid tbh, but may have to do that on Sams Maxi.

Thanks Mat, but she isn't a rep, it's my interpritation of an F2 Maxi using what I saw as the best bits hopped up with this generations best bits.
Fitting a dry sump for one was never in a Maxi etc... I could go on.
If I'd done a rep I would have follwoed your route and fitted all the mountune kit I have.
Even all the mountune gear I am fitting in the yellow Maxi of Sam's will be reworked.
Also the spoiler looks crap on the roof (top of the boot) not 100% on it being on the boot at all yet untill it's finished, standards look good on these, may end up going that route.
