lol yeh that will be nice to do, tbh looking forward the actual build of it now as for the last couple years seems to have been collecting parts
now I have started thinking about actualy building it I am seeing issues I'd not noticed before, for exs -
My dry sump set up, I think the drive pulley that adds onto cranks pully may need more room as I can see it hiting the front chasis leg, I'm gona have a look at my other RS and see what room there is and if need be cut a section of it away whilst on the spit.
Been having a chat with Matman on FEOC who's building his Maxi Kit Car and he's well on route to getting his moving so may pop over to have a butchers at it to get some more motivation when I'n next up that way.

yeah it would feel like it's been ages with just collecting part rather than actually building it... least you're getting to the stage where it's build time.. just make sure you take plenty of photo's mate been looking to seeing this done..

Phil came down again for the weekend as he's an ultra perfectionist and wanted to go over thebody work whilst he could, I also decided to get the car up onto the spit today.
Now cars on the spit can easily get to the turrets and weld them, will also be treating the floor to a clean up, primer, stone chip then paint.
heres pic's -
first off Phil lol
Made use of new impact gun and air rachet this weekend stripping old beem and subframe
One for Sam, easyer to weld mate?
Solid rear chasisi legs, no rust or welding any where on the floor!!
I'll be back up there asap now to treat the floor and get it back off of spit, getting there nopw!!!
Cheers again Phil for popping over.

well went up to lock up today with intention of welding the unernieth of rear wheel well plate and weld in turrets BUT
we only welded in the rear plate then decided as the car is on the spit and wont have the same chance again that we'd completely seem weld the car
me tooled with the grinder and Sam the welder followign me we went from one ond to the other, welding every seem we could find on the car....
got 60% done today, finishing off this week but fook me im knackerd as it isnt an easy job grinding the bottom of a car
some pics
also working way up into the engine bay, seem welding the complete shell
so this has added a week of two onto things but sooo worth it lol

another day spent at the lock up only half of it working and the other half tidying up as it was turning into a shit hole lol
a pleasure to be there now though after me an Sam cleaned the hell out of it lol
was planning to finish the floor and stone chip today but decided not to stone chip no matter how much Sam wanted me too lol
got to get metal bar still for seat bars so that'll heat the floor again so no point stone chipping it yet
we have fully primered it though as finished all seem welding and welded in one turret top, massive job though tbh as when tacked in had to bend the back over to meet with the original inner turret and it wasnt easy
don't think ill get much if anything else done this side of christmas but planning more already
updates in new year

Cheers Glen, was why I wanted it welded as when we jacked up the yellow one from the n/s rear all corners lifted and only left the o/s front touching the ground, so so stiff.
I just realised the seller on ebay is away till 4th Jan so wont get my steel fast, thats what I get for being lazy
